My stories tend to focus on characters finally facing their troubled pasts to overcome the challenges of their current lives.

I've been named been named one of 25 Writers To Watch by The Austin Film Festival and have been a finalist for a Disney Writing Fellowship (Jack Hammer: Male Stewardess), the Launch Pad Pilot Competition (Family Possesions), the Roadmap Writers Top Tier Competition (Come Back King), and the Stowe Story Labs Production Grant (Time Enough).

Jarrett Creative Group has optioned my feature screenplay Last Thanksgiving and I'm currently working on a feature adaptation of the novel The Memory Artists for Cinemonger, a Docu Series based on the nonfiction book, Stupid TV, Be More Funny: How the Golden Era of The Simpsons Changed Television-and America-Forever with 9DB Pictures, an original Coen-Bros esq. crime comedy feature Storage Drug War and a semi-autobiographical television series about becoming the de facto father for his half siblings when they escape from war torn Libya to America, Brother Baba (ISA Staff Pick).
